Support Lucas and Logan's MeRT Treatment

Hello! We are Ryan and Salaina Towers. We live in Queen Creek, AZ and have 3 boys: Landon, Lucas, and Logan. Lucas and Logan are 6-year-old twins. When they were 7 months old, our lives were rocked when they were both diagnosed with hydrocephalus and subdural effusions. At that time, both underwent cranial surgery to have shunts placed to drain the fluid from around their brain down to their stomachs. Since then, they have been delayed both physically and cognitively. In 2021, they were both diagnosed with autism. They are both non-verbal and they have had to work very hard to meet their milestones. We are so grateful that they continue to progress, even when the progress is slow.

We would like for both boys to undergo a treatment called Magnetic Resonance Therapy (MeRT). MeRT is a non-invasive, non-surgical, and non-pharmacological treatment that uses magnetic waves to stimulate specific areas of the brain. Improvements have included better communication, retention, learning, and greater independence in life. This treatment is expensive and not covered by health insurance. As parents, we want to do everything possible to help them achieve their full potential. Early intervention with this treatment can open doors for them that we have not thought possible. We are asking for donations to help pay for MeRT treatments. We are deeply grateful to anyone who can help to make this treatment possible for our boys.
