Lucas is a sweet, silly, and kind 6-year-old who is wise beyond his years. On November 19th, his world changed when he was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma. Despite this life-altering news, Lucas has shown incredible bravery and resilience as he begins his fight against this illness.

His treatment plan includes six months of chemotherapy, with at least the first month spent in the hospital. Lucas’s mom, Cece, is his sole provider and caregiver. As a single mother, she is juggling the immense emotional and physical demands of caring for Lucas with the financial challenges of stepping away from work to be by his side.

While Cece is doing everything possible to support Lucas, her FMLA benefits have limits, and the loss of income will make it difficult to cover living expenses, medical costs not covered by insurance, and other necessities during this time.
