Help bring a real working miniature steam railroad to Lubbock, Texas!

Lubbock Live Steamers is building a 7½-inch gauge Fitchburg Northern live steam locomotive (Allen Models) for educational and amusement purposes in our community. This propane-powered engine is the real thing—not a static display or battery toy. It runs on true steam, just like the locomotives that helped build America.

Your support will help us:

• Finish the Fitchburg Northern steam locomotive

• Build passenger cars

• Construct the track and railroad infrastructure

• Build electric and battery-powered support engines

Once complete, this miniature railroad will offer a wonderful family activity where rides will likely be available. Families, students, and visitors will enjoy a hands-on way to experience railroad history, learn about steam engineering, electric/battery systems, and radio-controlled technology, and discover the importance of railroad safety—all in an engaging, miniature form that connects Lubbock to a bygone era.

Every dollar brings us closer to the day this train can leave the station and begin serving our community.

Join Lubbock Live Steamers and help make it happen!
