Support Loving Family in Time of Need

UPDATE:

Unfortunately, my parents did not have life insurance on my brother and they are now facing the hardship of paying for the funeral cost. Please help if you can.

This is the absolute hardest post that I have ever had to create. Our boy, Tyler Ashton, went to be with the Lord yesterday at 2:10pm. Tyler was an organ donor and his legacy will forever live on. A parent should never have to go through this, it’s so very difficult knowing he’s gone. But I know one day we will all be together again. We love you buddy, more than words could ever say. You were honored yesterday with the Honor Walk, you are a hero baby, you were always our hero, but now everyone knows the true hero that you are. Not sure how to process this and how to go on without you but I know you would want life to continue. Love you Babyboy, always and forever❤️❤️❤️

Hello, my name is Summer Ashton. I created this GoFundMe account for assistance for my parents, Joe & Vicky Ashton, and my brother, Tyler Ashton. My parents are known to many as Momma Vicky and DJ (Daddy Joe). They have opened their home to many people in their lifetime when the individuals needed assistance. My brother, well, what can I say? The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Tyler would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it.

On September 9, 2024, I received the worst phone call of my life. My brother attempted suicide and was in full cardiac arrest when they got to him. From his brain being deprived of oxygen, he now has severe anoxic brain damage. He has no reflexes, does not open his eyes, is being fed through a tube, and is on a ventilator. Of course, my parents and I are not working at this difficult time and have no PTO time to cover us. The expenses and bills continue to need to be paid. At this difficult time, my parents need some financial assistance. They should not have the increased stress of worrying about the bills or other expenses incurred from medical bills, etc.

Over the next few days, my parents need to make some difficult decisions regarding my brother and the outcome of his condition. Any donations that you can spare will be used for medical expenses, bills incurred, gas for going to the hospital, etc. Please see it in your heart to help two of the most kind-hearted, compassionate, loving, selfless people that I know.
