Support Lovely Mom, Grandma Sirima's Fight Against Cancer

I am, writing this on behalf of my best friend Sewwandi’s (Upeksha Atapattu) mom Sirima Kuruppu who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

Sirima Kuruppu 68 year old loving grand mum living with her daughter in Brisbane Yarranilba.

Last month she was visiting her son in Orange NSW and presented with a few weeks history of hemoptysis and cough.

A CT Scan revealed a presumed primary loung carcinoma with extensive metastasis.

Now she is reunited with her daughter in Brisbane for further evaluation and admitted to the Mater Private Hospital Brisbane

Currently she is on her bridging VISA does not hold Medicare. She got her Private Health Insurance, but it does not cover the treatments.

We aren’t too sure what the future holds, but Sirima is remaining positive and hoping for the best, she is lucky that is in Australia and she is in good hands.
