Hello all! My name is Rio Grenshields, and I'm hoping to find enough kind souls to donate to my very good friends' wedding. I want to refrain from explaining the personal details of the fallout and drama to respect the involved parties' personal lives, but please be aware that the funding was pulled, and the wedding was cancelled.
I'm sure those who have been, are, and wish to be married know how expensive it can be to fund a wedding - the venue, catering, dress, music, etc., it's A LOT. In the current economy, it's a heavy financial burden to take on for anyone, but I've heard that it takes a village to raise a child - and so I'm here to hope that it also takes a village to help love prosper.
The bride and groom-to-be have a date set in the first half of 2026, so thankfully, there's time. They're both extremely kind souls who don't deserve the sh*t storm that befell them, ultimately leading to the cancellation of the wedding due to lack of funds. We, a crew of dedicated friends, have decided to start this page in the hopes of seeing what was the most anticipated wedding of our 2026. Not only does the couple rightfully deserve the wedding of their dreams, but the situation that cancelled it, we believe, is unjust as it is THEIR day, not anyone else's.
The bride-to-be is an actual saint with a heart of gold, carefully balanced with her feistiness. She's calm, collected, and a good friend - she's been so excited to plan and get married.
The groom-to-be is a goofy guy who's loyal to his friends and is the type who is there when you need him, no questions asked.
They both inspire the true definition of love and are the embodiment and inspiration for what it should look like.
We thank you for your time, consideration, and any donations to make their dreams a reality.
