My name is **Majeed**, and I’m a Palestinian living in Belgium. While I have physical safety here, my heart, soul, and every thought remain with my family still trapped in **Gaza**.

Before this war, we had a life filled with dignity and hope . We lived in **Khan Younis**, in a beautiful house with a garden. My parents worked tirelessly to give us an education . I have an older brother, **Louay**, studying medicine in Egypt. My younger brother **Mohammed**, a trained lawyer, stayed in Gaza. I also have two younger sisters and a little brother who’s barely out of childhood.

Since the start of the war, **Mohammed has been volunteering with World Central Kitchen (WCK)** ️, risking his life to bring food to families in desperate need. His courage humbles me.

But the war has turned everything into horror.

Our home—once filled with laughter and books—is now just **rubble and the twisted remains of bombs** . Humanitarian aid has all but stopped since the last ceasefire. **There is no flour. People eat leaves.** The military is pushing millions into smaller and smaller, devastated zones. Children without limbs, orphans, and entire families live among trash and human remains. Diseases spread rapidly. **Survival is a daily miracle.**

My family is **exhausted by constant evacuations**. They sleep in **wet tents**, shivering with cold ❄️. The rain seeps into their few belongings. Fear is constant. Each time the phone rings, I tremble. I don’t know if I will hear their voice again or learn of their death.

I’m begging for your help. I want to give them a chance—not just to survive, but to one day heal.

Avant la guerre, notre vie à **Khan Younis** était modeste mais pleine d’espoir . Nous avions une maison avec un jardin. Mes parents se sont battus pour nous offrir une éducation . Mon frère aîné, **Louay**, étudie la médecine en Égypte. Mon petit frère, **Mohammed**, avocat, est resté à Gaza. J’ai aussi deux sœurs et un petit frère encore enfant.

Depuis le début de la guerre, **Mohammed est volontaire avec WCK (World Central Kitchen)** , distribuant de la nourriture aux familles, malgré les risques mortels. Son courage m'inspire.

Notre maison est désormais **un tas de ruines et de cendres** . L’aide humanitaire a été stoppée. Il n’y a **plus de farine**, les enfants mangent des **feuilles** . Les militaires entassent la population dans des zones invivables. Les maladies se propagent, les amputations sont devenues communes. **Survivre est un miracle quotidien.**

Ma famille a dû fuir plusieurs fois. Elle dort sous une **tente humide**, transie de froid. Chaque appel pourrait être le dernier . L’angoisse est constante.
