Hi everyone,
I never thought I’d be in a position to write something like this, but here we are.
My dog, Louis Michael, was recently diagnosed with bone cancer (Osteosarcoma) in his front right leg this past Friday. It’s been a heartbreaking and overwhelming few days trying to process everything and figure out the best path forward for him. After speaking with the vet, the next step is amputation, and his surgery is scheduled for this coming Wednesday.
Lou is such a lively, loving, and energetic dog. Even through all of this, he still has so much life in him, and I’m doing everything I can to give him the best chance at more time, more memories, and more good days.
While I’ve been able to figure out a way to cover the surgery itself, this sudden situation has put me in a difficult spot financially. The recovery process after surgery will be long and demanding, and I want to make sure I can fully support him every step of the way, providing everything he needs to heal comfortably and safely.
Funds raised will go directly toward Lou's recovery and care, including follow-up veterinary appointments, medications, and the essentials needed to keep him comfortable and healing properly during this process.
I’m not someone who usually asks for help, but right now, anything truly means the world. Even just $1 can make a difference and go toward giving Lou the care and support he needs during his recovery.
More than anything, I just want more time with him.
If you’re able to donate or even share this, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read my Louis boy’s story and for supporting during this difficult time.
