Support Lou's Life-Saving Surgery

My best friend Lou is facing a very serious surgery. Initially, we thought her coughing fits were related to asthma, but inhalers didn’t help, and her condition worsened over time. When I took her to the vet, they examined her and discovered a new soft tissue mass in her left caudal lung field, which we suspect is likely a pulmonary cancer, with highest consideration for a carcinoma. Based on the radiographs, the oncologist suspects this is resectable with surgery.

Asking for financial help is incredibly uncomfortable, but it’s the only option I can think of to support Lou. She’s otherwise very healthy and has many years ahead of her if this surgery goes well. After looking into surgical costs, the most affordable option I found is at APEX in Nashville, TN, which quoted me up to $7,000, while most other places are charging up to $10,000. This includes CT scan, surgery, and overnight hospitalization. Unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to cover this myself, or I wouldn’t be reaching out for help.
