My name is Penny, and I’ve had the privilege of knowing Lourdes and Rey for over a decade. They are the kind of people who have spent their lives being a blessing to others, and now, they need us to be a blessing to them.

After 35 years of marriage, three children, and many grandchildren, life threw them a devastating curveball. This past year, Rey (only 55 years old) suffered three confirmed strokes, leading to a diagnosis of early-onset Vascular Dementia.

The physical and emotional toll has been immense, but the financial burden is also mounting. Because of his declining health, Rey lost his job, and Lourdes had to leave hers to become his full-time caregiver. My heart breaks to see them navigate these dark times alone.
