Lourdes is a dentist for over 40 years transforming lives in low income communities. She found joy in promoting healthy habits within the community and playing with her grandchildren. Now, she is in critical condition in the ER/ICU, facing a long road of surgeries, rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care that will change her life forever.

Our family is completely devastated. Lourdes was looking forward to enjoying her retirement, focusing on her health, and being present for her grandchildren. Instead, we are now navigating a whirlwind of hospital stays, legal challenges, and uncertainty about her future. The police response has been disappointing, with witnesses and first responders left unheard, adding to our frustration and heartbreak.
