Hi, my name is Louis Hankins, and I’m reaching out with humility and hope during one of the hardest moments of my life.

I am a one-time cancer survivor, and unfortunately, I am now facing cancer again, this time throat cancer. Hearing those words a second time has been overwhelming, both physically and emotionally, but I am doing my best to stay strong and keep moving forward.

Despite my health challenges, I’ve always tried to give back. I use my car as my main source of transportation, not only to get myself to medical appointments and treatments, but also to help distribute food to people in my community who are in need. Serving others gives me purpose and strength, even while I’m fighting this battle myself.

Right now, the financial strain is becoming heavy. Medical expenses, transportation costs, gas, car maintenance, and basic living needs are adding up quickly. As my treatment continues, it’s becoming harder to keep up on my own.

I’m asking for support to help cover:

• Medical and treatment-related expenses

• Transportation costs (gas, car upkeep for appointments and community outreach)

• Basic living necessities while I focus on healing
