Support Louise Ehrmann's Battle with Cancer

The Ehrmann family is facing their biggest challenge yet. Louise Lansky Ehrmann has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer related to her Chek2 gene. The tumors are not responding as well as the doctors at MSK would like and given how many tumors there are, their size and how entwined they are with her organs, they suspect that she will not beat this cancer. It's just a matter of time. Louise has a husband, 3 kids (ages 18, 16 and 13) and a dog and a cat. While they have decent health insurance and life insurance, certain alternative treatments and mental health care may not be covered. In addition, Louise is very concerned about getting her family through this difficult time and if and when she is feeling well enough, she would like to be able to do some things and create some meaningful memories that may be beyond the family budget. Understandably, the children and Peter are struggling with Louise's prognosis, so we ask friends to refrain from asking them about it. Thank you.
