Support Louis Accardo's Fight Against Cancer

Hello everyone.

I set up this page up for Louis Accardo. As many of you know, several weeks ago Lou had to leave work suddenly due to severe dizziness. He went straight to the hospital from work and underwent many tests over the days following. What was diagnosed was a shocker to all especially since Lou felt fine up until that point. The diagnosis was lung cancer which has also metastasized to his brain.

With Lou's disease in this state we have to assume that, at best, he has a tough road ahead. I believe that all who know Louie will help out here or in some other way. Regarding Lou's job at the PA, he is a relatively new employee and has not accrued much sick and vacation time. Many of you have already stepped up and donated vacation time to him. Another drawback of being a new employee is that Lou is on the lower end of the pay scale. For this reason, many of our colleagues expressed a willingness to donate cash to Lou as opposed to company time. That is when I decided to launch this GoFundMe page on Louie's behalf.

I spoke to Lou yesterday and he sounds well despite the diagnosis. Lou expressed his gratitude in advance of any help that we give him.
