Help Louie Get the Training He Needs for a Fresh Start

Louie is a fun-loving, energetic pup with a heart full of love. He’s a little firecracker who can run and play for hours, with tug-of-war and the flirt pole being his absolute favorites. But when playtime is over, he’s all about the snuggles—whether it’s curling up beside you or climbing right into your lap.

Louie’s past is a bit of a mystery, but what we do know is that he thrives with structure, patience, and a calm environment. He’s nervous at first and takes time to build trust, but once he does, he’s an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion. Unfortunately, we’ve come to the heartbreaking realization that our home isn’t the best fit for Louie. He truly needs to be the only pet in a home without young children, where he can get the attention, stability, and guidance he deserves.

To give Louie the best chance at success in his next home, we are working with Lora and Amanda from North Country Paws for Obedience, who are assisting with his rehabilitation and rehoming. We are raising funds to enroll Louie in a board and train program, which will help him learn to be less reactive and give him the tools he needs to thrive in the right environment. This program is crucial in setting him up for a happy, well-adjusted future.
