Hello my name is Roleana. My ten year old son Louie has brain cancer and we need help. My

husband I both work full time but it’s not enough to cover medical expenses. I'm a preschool

teacher and my husband is in automotive care. We’ve lived all our lives in Sierra Vista, Arizona. We have a twelve year old daughter named Valerie and she adores her little brother when they aren’t annoying each other.

Louis was diagnosed in October 2024 and was immediately admitted to ICU at Phoenix Children's Hospital. He spent one week there and then began radiation treatment in late October at Mayo Clinic for seven weeks. With the support from our families we traveled 3 hours back and forth between our home town and Phoenix so we could continue to work for the seven weeks. He is currently home and we will find out results of radiation treatment in a couple weeks. In the middle of all of this our insurance and Phoenix Children’s Hospital became out of network which is complicating matters even more. Medical bills are crushing. We’ve incurred ten grand in medical so far and we know more bills are coming. Bills come in daily. In addition we incur out of pocket expenses we can’t afford. Hotels and meals are not cheap. Plus the cost of medical supplies like a wheel chair. Incidentals like the cost of hats and sunblock because of hair loss.
