A little over a week ago, I received news that my 6 year old cat, Louie, has been diagnosed with cancer. This news has been sitting very heavy on my heart and one that has taken a while for me to process and still processing.
He has a rare soft tissue cancer that is found in fibrous connective tissues called Fibrosarcoma. This type of cancer is treated with surgery to remove the tumor and prevent any growth/spreading of the cancer throughout his body.
As much as I am trying to keep the sunshine alive during this time of pain and overwhelming thoughts spiraling through my mind, it is very difficult for me to watch my Lou bug go through this. I have decided to go through with the surgery at the end of this month because I know it is the only way my Lou bug will be rid of this terrible illness without him being in pain for too long.
I am reaching out to all my friends, family, and beyond to ask if you would be so kind and generous and contribute in helping pay for this surgery. If you can't donate at this time, I ask that you please say a very special prayer for my cat Louie and/or a prayer to St. Francis that He protects and helps my little fur ball during this difficult time.
I greatly appreciate your support, time and help during this difficult time.
100% of donations received will go towards Louie's surgery to remove his cancer and follow up treatments.
