Support Lou Passariello's Road to Recovery

I am sharing this GoFundMe set up for Lou Passariello, a close friend, trusted colleague, and extraordinary person. For those who don't know Lou well, he is a loyal, dedicated, compassionate, and kind individual with an incredible sense of humor and the heart of ten lions. He is also incredibly proud and humble; he is unaware we have set this up because he would be none to pleased.

I've had the distinct honor of working with Lou for the past seven years as he serves as the Director of Operations at Omnium, my second in command, and on the trajectory to take over as President of Omnium. This is Lou's second brain surgery in five years for a condition that accounts for only 0.2–1.8% of all brain tumors. Even his condition is rare and unique.

Incredibly, just three days before his brain surgery, Lou ran an Olympic distance triathlon, breaking his personal best time. The doctors were amazed, stating he shouldn't have been able to walk, let alone compete in a triathlon.

Fortunately, unlike the first surgery, the doctors felt confident they were able to remove the entire tumor, which was the size of a lemon. However, as one can imagine, Lou will need a great deal of support over the next few months as he recovers. He is currently at a rehabilitation hospital, putting in the effort every day to regain motor skills that we often take for granted.

While Lou has insurance to cover some of the expenses, there will be significant costs that insurance won't cover. Therefore, I am reaching out to my friends and colleagues in the security community to donate and help this extraordinary human recover without the added stress of financial concerns. Plus, I need him back at Omnium as soon as possible ;)
