Hi, my name is Nailah Curry, and I am the proud owner of Lou Lou’s Seafood, the first Black woman-owned seafood restaurant in Lexington, NC. For years, my husband Josh and I have poured our hearts into building Lou Lou’s into more than just a restaurant. It’s a community hub, a place where families come together, where neighbors connect, and where we serve delicious seafood boils, fried fish, sides, and more all made with love and flavor that brings people back again and again. But like many small businesses, we’ve faced challenges. Between rising food costs, unexpected equipment repairs, and the daily costs of keeping a restaurant open, it’s been difficult to keep up while also working toward our dream of growth. We’ve worked so hard to build something beautiful for our family and community, and now we need your help to take Lou Lou’s to the next level.
