My daughter Lynda Cortes just died from stomach cancer. Her life insurance was canceled when she went on disability. My son-in-law Lou Cortes took a leave of absence from work without pay to take care of her when she was at the end of her life. They had gotten married about 6 months before she got sick, & he lovingly did everything for her, with Hospice care help. Lynda was cremated & Lou is arranging a memorial service for family & friends. He will be paying for the costs himself, & we want to get him some help. Lynda fought so hard to live & enjoy more time with her soul mate but God took her home too early.
