Clay By The Bay needs your help!
As a small business, we want to do our part to minimize the spread of COVID-19, but the outbreak and one-month closure have had a devastating impact on our livelihoods. We are a space that thrives and survives on community and we are reaching out for your support.
From the day we opened our doors 6 years ago, our goal was to build a safe space for those looking to heal through and learn the art of ceramics. We have made it our priority to create a welcoming, nurturing, and shared space for artists new to the craft, to those with years of experience. Clay By The Bay is a place to develop a sense of connection to a creative community in a city that leaves less and less room for artists every day.
We are proud to employ over 15 artists as our instructors, managers, technicians, and production staff. They are the reason Clay By The Bay exists. Our goal is to maintain their regular hours, health & 401K benefits, and return them to full employment.
In order to achieve this goal, we are asking for your help. We want to offer you all that we can during the closure and this is an opportunity to support local, hardworking artists so they can continue to offer a creative outlet to the wider San Francisco community. Help us keep the arts ALIVE in San Francisco during this unknown time—any donation, large or small, helps.
