Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for support for our Lorrie, who was recently diagnosed with nasal cancer. This diagnosis, of course, has come as a shock to our family, but most importantly, it will be Lorrie facing the long and difficult road ahead. After being forced back to work due to rising living costs, of which many of us are experiencing, she now faces the impossible reality of being unable to work while undergoing treatment.

Those who know Lorrie, know how incredibly resilient she is. At 67 years young, Lorrie is a vibrant and loving individual who has always been kind, strong, and selfless—someone who is always putting others' needs before her own, without hesitation. Throughout her life, she has faced challenges with quiet strength and determination never allowing hardship to define her. Even now, as she navigates this diagnosis, she continues to show courage and perseverance.

Lorrie is facing treatments that will require immense strength, time, and financial support. The costs associated with cancer treatment add up quickly. Between medical expenses, travel to and from appointments, medications, surgeries, and time away from work, the financial burden can be overwhelming. Our goal with this fundraiser is to help ease that stress so she can focus fully on what matters most: healing.

This fundraiser is being organized by myself, Holland (Ino Peppino), my Auntie Nino’s (Lorrie’s) nephew. She has always held a very special place in my heart, as our nicknames continue to remind us of the bond we share.
