Support Lorri Whisenant's Leukemia Battle

Our dear friend Lorri Whisenant has been a teacher for over 29 years. She's tirelessly sown into the lives of countless of our children, and now she needs our help! Right after having shoulder surgery on May 10th.....a standard blood workup on May 13th revealed a diagnosis of APL Leukemia.

Lorri has taught in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System for over 20 years, Grace Covenant Academy for 4 years, and just retired from Bonnie Cone Learning Center after her diagnosis. Lorri & her husband Pat have 5 children, have lived in the Huntersville area for over 30 years, and have have fellowshipped at Grace Covenant Church for over 25 years.

Because she needed to be hospitalized immediately, Lorri wasn't able to finish the school year. She has been in the hospital since May 13th, and is expected to be there until June 30th. As you can imagine...the hospital expenses have really started to add up, not to mention the hospital food.

So how can we help Lorri?
