Hello,
My name is Tammy Yanak. I am a close friend of Lorri Dunton. I am helping to raise money for Lorri, who is facing unimaginable hardship after the loss of her husband Greg Dunton.
I have known Lorri since I was fifteen years old. We met at the Oaks theatres in Cupertino California, and became fast friends. We were inseparable then, and after all these years we’ve remained close.
Lorri is a lover. She is like sunshine on a rainy day. She has always been a “glass half full” kind of person, instinctively making the best of whatever life brings her way. She is a shining light and someone who has always put others first.
Lorri and Greg were married for 17 years and were truly the best of friends. They did everything together including helping others through Greg’s work as a personal advisor. I’ve not met another couple who could work so closely and harmoniously. They brought out the best in one another and had the wonderful ability to laugh at themselves and with each other.
Lorri and Greg dearly loved their families, friends, and their many animals - including donkeys they rescued and cared for. Sadly, their dog Freddy whom Greg gave to Lorri to comfort her after his passing, has recently gone missing.
After a long and difficult battle with cancer Greg passed away on October 7, 2025. For the past two years, Lorri dedicated her life to caring for him, which required her to stop working. Now, not only has she lost her husband, but she is also at risk of losing her home in Arizona and all of her belongings.
I am asking for your help to give Lorri some financial support. Your generous donations will go directly to her. This fundraiser has been created to provide a financial safety net – helping her cover immediate costs, daily expenses, and looming bills. For someone who has always put others first, Lorri now needs helping hands. Any amount you can contribute would be a tremendous gift and a true blessing to a grieving widow who needs our support now more than ever.
I am deeply grateful for any support you can offer - whether it’s a donation, sharing this fundraiser with others, or offering your prayers. Together we can show Lorri the power of community and remind her that the sun will shine again after the storm.
Thank you for helping bring light and hope back to Lorri’s life and giving her the strength to keep going.
With gratitude,
Tammy Yanak
