Im Lori Vance’s brother Mike. Since her major stroke in August she has been unable to move 90% of her body below the neck. Through months of therapy and rehabilitation she has improved enough to operate a power wheelchair and should be able to move back home by the end of summer. Of course this has been a major difficulty physically, mentally, and financially. In order to be able to move about, Lori and Skip will need a van with a wheelchair ramp. Brand new, these run into the $50 and $60 thousand dollar range, but there are used ones out there. We’re hoping to raise some funds to help them with getting a used van. Times are tight of course, but if you’re able to donate a few bucks to the cause hopefully we can get Lori home and back to living life again. Please kick in if you can. Thank you and much love.
