Support Lori's Healing Journey with Alex

Lori is a retired EMT from Oklahoma City, OK. Throughout her career, she experienced many traumatic calls while working on the ambulance, as well as in her personal life. As a result, she has been diagnosed with severe PTSD. Lori loved her job as an EMT and excelled at it. She dedicated most of her life to helping others. Now, she needs our help!

Lori is currently attending Warriors Heart, in Bandera Texas, where she is focusing on her healing, as well as identifying triggers and how to work through those.

While at Warriors Heart, she has had the opportunity to train a dog to be a service animal. She has been working with "Alex", who is a Greyhound/Boxer mix. Alex is extremely intelligent and has been doing great in training. Lori and Alex have formed a bond that is extremely special and important for a handler and their canine partner.

Alex will specialize in grounding Lori when her anxiety begins to rise, as well as provide a sense of security while in public.
