Support Lori's Fight Against Liver Disease

This is a GoFundMe for Lori’s medical expenses, gas expenses, and food expenses obtained while she has had to visit the ER 3 times in the last 14 days. Her cirrhosis of the liver due to NASH is progressing. She is having to have fluids drained weekly. We have a date set later here in December for her to get put on a hospital schedule to have paracentesis done regularly so we will no longer have to come to the emergency room to get it done. They are booked out quite a bit in advance. She needs her first visit first so she can be added to the schedule. She will have it done weekly after that. We also have an upcoming appointment in KC to visit her KU liver transplant team to discuss ways to help fight the cirrhosis and slow the progression, which will eventually lead to a transplant. With all these procedures and fighting cirrhosis, Lori is no longer able to work, and I have to miss some days of work unpaid to make it to doctor's appointments and ER visits in this battle.
