I am currently in graduate school, working toward my master's degree in counseling psychology. As part of my journey, I have started at my training site, where I am gaining hands-on experience in the field. Recently, I learned about an opportunity to participate in EMDR training, a highly effective trauma intervention that can make a real difference in the lives of those struggling with past wounds. The training is a significant expense on top of my ongoing education costs.

Completing the EMDR training will equip me with specialized skills to help people overcome various types of trauma by releasing stored pain and memories. This process often allows individuals to move forward in areas of life where they have felt stuck, leading to improvements in their relationships, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life. I am passionate about supporting people on their healing journeys, and this training will enable me to serve my clients more effectively.

After many years investing in campus ministry and missions, and Sozo ministry, this has been a career pivot to pursue a path where I feel God's purposes and a stable career intersect. Therapeutic trainings, on top of school, can be pricey but essential. So I thought I’d make a little scholarship fund to help with some of these expenses. There’s an EMDR training coming up soon that some of the other therapists at my training site are attending.
