Support Lorinda's Road to Recovery

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

My name is Jamie, and I am reaching out today with a heavy heart but also a hopeful spirit. My mother-in-law Lorinda is facing an extremely difficult health battle that she and her husband are facing in the coming days, weeks, and months. She is a vibrant, caring person, and now she needs our help.

Lorinda’s husband Casey came home last Monday to find her on the floor and unresponsive. After calling 911, they got her to the hospital where they tried to determine what happened. After several days of tests, it was determined she did not have a stroke, and it is still unclear what exactly happened other than what they believe to be a severe case of pneumonia. In the meantime, Lorinda has been intubated and heavily sedated throughout the week. She has become more responsive but does have a long road to recovery. The medical bills are piling up, and their savings are quickly dwindling. Casey’s PTO is coming to an end, and the financial burden is becoming overwhelming.

We are raising funds to help cover her medical expenses, in-home nursing for when Casey heads back to work, and day-to-day living costs while she focuses on her recovery. Every dollar counts, and any contribution you can make will be immensely appreciated.
