Support Lorie Crenshaw's Battle with Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jennifer Black, and I am Lorie Crenshaw's niece. I’m reaching out to ask for your support during this incredibly challenging time for our family.
Lorie, who just celebrated her 53rd birthday in July, is a loving wife to Kevin, a devoted mother to two children, and a proud grandmother of five beautiful grandbabies. She is the epitome of a hands-on grandmother, never missing an opportunity to spend time with her family. Lorie’s faith and love for others shine brightly in everything she does. She is deeply involved in her church and consistently volunteers within her community, always eager to lend a helping hand.
In the fall of 2023, our world was turned upside down when Lorie was diagnosed with stomach cancer. She bravely underwent surgery in March of 2024 to remove the cancer, and we were overjoyed when her screenings came back clear. However, our relief was short-lived. Over the past several weeks, Lorie began experiencing severe back pain. Concerned, she returned to the doctor, where scans revealed the devastating news that the cancer had returned. This time, it has progressed to stage 4 and metastasized to her lungs and spine.
On August 30th, 2024, Lorie was released from the hospital and is now being cared for by hospice in the comfort of her home. As you can imagine, this has been a difficult time for our family, not only emotionally but financially. Lorie’s medical expenses, including future treatments and hospice care, are being paid out of pocket, placing a significant financial burden on her family.
Throughout this ordeal, Lorie and her family have shown incredible strength and faith. Now, we are humbly asking for your support. If you’re able to contribute, any amount would help lighten the load they’re carrying. If you’re unable to give at this time, we kindly ask that you keep Lorie and our family in your prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, support, and prayers during this time.
