Help a Dedicated, Fun-Loving, Woman and Friend Battle Cancer.
Hi, my name is Christine Cox, and I’m raising funds for an incredible woman who has spent her life lifting others up—with kindness, humor, and an unstoppable spirit.
Now in her 50s, this vibrant, fun-loving mom has always lived life to the fullest. Whether she's traveling the world, singing along to her favorite Beatles songs, or volunteering to design and paint sets for school theatre productions, she finds joy in every moment. Her motto? “But did you die?” It’s her cheeky way of reminding us all to be brave, laugh often, and treat life—yes, even cancer—as just another adventure.
Before she became a special education teacher, she had a thriving career as a commercial interior designer. Her heart, however, led her to follow her true calling: teaching and advocating for children with special needs. She’s been a fierce champion for them ever since—staying late, showing up early, and going the extra mile to make sure every student knows they matter.
Her generosity goes far beyond the classroom. She's opened her home to people in crisis, donated her time and resources freely, and supported countless others through tough times—never asking for anything in return.
Now, she’s the one facing a difficult journey. Earlier this year, she was diagnosed with invasive carcinoma breast cancer and cervical cancer. She has already undergone a full bilateral mastectomy and healing while gearing up for the next steps in cancer treatments. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs, time away from work, and day-to-day expenses are overwhelming.
She’s shown up for so many people. It’s our turn to show up for her.
Your donation will help cover medical expenses not covered by insurance, costs related to recovery and healing, basic living expenses while she’s off work, and any extra funds will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in honor of her lifelong love of children and commitment to making the world brighter.
Whether you give, share, or simply send a prayer her way—every bit of support means the world. Let’s remind her she’s not alone in this fight. She’s got an army of love behind her.
Thank you for being part of her story.
