Hi, my name is Karen and I am Lori Toth’s cousin. As many of you might know, Lori was given a cancer diagnosis approximately a year ago. During this past year, she has dealt valiantly with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. Even though the treatments have ended, she continues to struggle with devastating side effects from the treatment. Those of us who know Lori know she does not give up easily and even continues to work to support herself amongst these challenges. She does have some medical insurance, but it isn’t enough to cover everything, including the daily expenses just to survive. So on behalf of Lori, because we all know she wouldn’t ask for herself, I’m asking if her friends, family, and coworkers would come together and give just a little bit to this fund to help ease her mental and physical worries. I’m sure we all have stories of Lori helping others in their time of need, whether it was just a visit with a hug or doing an errand or giving money out of her own pocket.
