Lori has been a close friend of mine for 16 years, ever since we met at Holy Cross Academy where she worked when my son went to school there. She is now facing her second battle with stage 4 colon cancer, which has spread to her liver. Lori has endured multiple surgeries and ongoing chemotherapy, leaving her exhausted and often sick. One of her recent surgeries resulted in the loss of function in her left kidney, and she is currently struggling with side effects from chemotherapy like neuropathy and severe skin peeling on her hands and feet. She has had to reduce her work hours to part time so she can focus on her health. Despite these challenges, Lori continues to fight every day, showing incredible strength and determination.
Lori is the kind of person who always puts others first. Even while dealing with her own health struggles, she is supporting her daughter Brittany and two grandsons, who recently moved in with Lori and her husband Greg after a family tragedy. Brittany’s husband tragically took his life on July 4, 2025, and Lori has stepped up to help her family through this unimaginable loss. She is always there to offer a smile, a kind word, or a thoughtful gift to brighten someone’s day, no matter what she is going through herself.
We are raising funds to help Lori cover mounting medical bills and essential living expenses. The financial burden of ongoing cancer treatment, combined with the responsibility of caring for her family, has become overwhelming. Your support will allow Lori to focus on her health and her loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Lori and her family.
