Hello friends and family. As some of you know, my mother, Lori David, has been battling stage 4 colon cancer for several months now. She has been very quiet about it as she didn’t want anybody worrying about her (and those of you who know her know she is stubborn). However, in light of recent medical bills and general care, it has become very difficult for my family to handle financially.

We finally got her to agree to starting a GoFundMe to help assist with medical expenses. To the people who know my mother personally, they know she’d rip the shirt off her back to give to somebody, so this is our way as a family to finally try and give some back to her. To the people who don’t know my mother personally; she is the craziest, most loving, and absolutely mouthy (her nickname is Lips) mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend that anybody could ask for. Colon cancer has caused a lot of different changes to her lifestyle, most notably having to get a colostomy bag which she will have for the rest of her life. We want to make sure she has everything she needs to fight this cruel battle against cancer.

If you’re unable to give, that is COMPLETELY OKAY. My family and especially my mother would not be able to stomach if somebody went without dinner over her. But if you are in a position to give, even something small, we appreciate every single donation towards her fight, and if you aren’t in a position to give, a share is appreciated just as much.
