Our dear loved one, Lori B., is only 39 years old and a devoted mother to her 3-year-old daughter, Nyla. She is currently on a journey of recovery after suffering a stroke. As a small business owner of Wigs Naturally by Lori B., she empowers women who have faced breast cancer, alopecia, extreme hair loss, and feelings of unworthiness. Additionally, Lori is a realtor and has helped countless individuals in Central New Jersey find their forever homes.

 

At the end of February, Lori was headed to Orlando for a girls' trip to celebrate her friend's 40th birthday. However, before leaving the airport, she began to feel unwell, experiencing loss of sight and equilibrium. Just a few hours later, she was in the ICU at Orlando Regional Medical Center fighting for her life. Lori suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, which impacts only 10-15% of stroke patients, triggered by high blood pressure. Fortunately, she is one of the lucky ones who received swift and thorough treatment from the neurologists in Florida. Now, it’s time for her to return home to New Jersey to start her recovery and reunite with her daughter and family.
