My name is Carrie Wilmoth, and I am the daughter-in-law of Lori and Michelle Watts.

As many of you know, Michelle Watts has been hospitalized since September and is currently at a specialty hospital for medically complex conditions. Her wife, Lori, has been by her side, taking care of her every step of the way.

On Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, Lori was taken to the ER by ambulance, and early Monday, February 24th, Lori was rushed into emergency surgery for bleeding on the left side of her brain. The surgery was successful, but it is unknown at this time what her recovery will look like, as the left side of the brain controls motor, speech, and cognitive function. She remains on a ventilator at this time and will have further testing to determine the cause and lasting effects of the brain bleeding.

Lori and Michelle are both EMT's at Superior and work really hard to care and advocate for their patients.

With both Michelle and Lori being hospitalized and unable to work, the bills will be stacking up. All money donated will go to household expenses and care for both Lori and Michelle.
