Support Loretta Walker & Family After Devastating Fire.
Donation protected
On Saturday, May 10th wildfire engulfed Loretta (Tedda) Walker's home with three of her sons inside.
The boys were watching the fire the night prior, keeping watch and making sure it wasn't getting too close. In the morning, they fell asleep, and this is when the wind picked up and the blaze went out of control.
Volunteer firefighters responding to fires in the community arrived to find the house had started on fire. A firefighter entered the house and roused the three sleeping, who were able to escape with just the clothes on their backs.
Auntie Tedda’s house has been a family sanctuary throughout the years. Laughter can always be heard while visiting with kids, grandkids, nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was also the keeper of memories with photos, collages, keepsakes, and family artefacts passed down through the generations.
Please help support Loretta and her family while they try to rebuild their lives in the best way they can. Any support is greatly appreciated.
