Hello, this is Lorenzo. Earlier this year, I suffered a torn pectoral muscle that required surgery and a 6 month recovery. What should have been a straightforward recovery turned into a much longer battle — I spent close to 3 weeks in the hospital fighting a serious infection. Luckily, I’m back home, but I still need ongoing nurse care and will be starting physical therapy to regain strength and mobility.

This unexpected setback has left me out of work and struggling with the costs of recovery. I’m asking for help to cover lost wages while I heal, and to offset the expenses of physical therapy and medical care at home.
