Support Lorenzo Lopshire's Road to Recovery

Hello. My name is Jerria and I am the fiance and caretaker of Lorenzo Lopshire. I have been his health directive for his hospital stay and support throughout his diagnosis of ESRD.
Lorenzo is a hard worker who cares about his family and friends and always is selflessly taking care of others. He is a talented songwriter, singer and dancer. He has 3 children who he loves dearly. We have a 13 year old son Lorenzo Jr. and 3 dogs and a cat at our home in Saint Paul.
Lorenzo was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease and has been on dialysis for over 4 years. He was admitted at the U of M Medical Center on July 26th for a simultaneous pancreas and kidney transplant. He has had over seven operations due to complications. Last Saturday, Lorenzo had a tracheotomy so they could remove his breathing tube that he had in for 3 weeks. He has been battling pancreatitis and other infections since his transplant surgery.
Lorenzo is currently unable to speak. He is deconditioned from being in the hospital for a month. He is doing breathing exercises and various therapy to rebuild his strength. He has a long road to recovery and a doctor told Lorenzo he is going to be here at least 3 more weeks. He is still on antibiotics and the kidney is still waking up. They may need to do intermittent dialysis while the kidney is still trying to get going.
He is still in the ICU but we are relieved he has turned a corner as the antibiotics began to be effective.
I have been at Lorenzo side every day advocating for him since he cannot speak. I found out that because we are not married I do not qualify for FMLA. We were going to get married in August but our English Mastiff went through a window causing her to have a hospital stay and draining all of our savings.
Someone tried to access Lorenzo's bank account a week into his hospital stay. They locked his account for security purposes. He is unable to speak to unlock his account. This is causing his bills to bounce and I cannot pay his other bills for him until he can speak enough to unlock his account. We have a mortgage, energy bill, water, phone and car insurance bills to pay. With my lost wages we are struggling to keep up. I have been driving to MPLS to the hospital twice daily plus the cost of parking. We have food costs for us and our animals and back to school supplies are needed. With all the bills piling up and Lorenzo weeks from being able to speak I am concerned about our finances since I cannot work right now.
Anyone that can help us through this difficult time would be appreciated greatly. Please donate if you are able, no amount is too small. We did not foresee these events and the length of Lorenzo's hospital stay and recovery. Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers and support through this difficult time. Lorenzo is fighting hard to get well and he is getting stronger everyday.
Sincerely,
The Lopshire Family
