Support Lorenzo Barajas Jr. in His Fight Against Parkinson's

My name is Lorenzo M Barajas Jr and I’m a disabled veteran. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease 3 years ago but, I’ve had symptoms for 5 years. Since my diagnosis, my disease has been progressing rapidly.

Parkinson’s affects everyone who has it differently. For me, it has affected my walking the most. I cannot take a step out without my legs freezing and I’m stuck there trying to step out while risking falling down. The medication the doctor has me on does not help with the freezing or how rapidly my disease is progressing.

I know there is no cure for Parkinson’s but getting stem cell therapy might help slow down the progression and maybe help with the freezing. But stem cell therapy is not covered by my health insurance and it’s costing me $8500 to have it done.

This disease is taking a toll on me and my family emotionally and physically. I’m just trying to find a better quality of life. Thank you.
