Support Loren's Literacy Mission

My name is Loren Parsons and I am a passionate educator. After spending time teaching elementary in both Florida and Massachusetts, I realized many students need personalized learning, particularly in literacy. Modern classrooms are often overcrowded and teaching a generalized curriculum. I wanted to create a place where students can get an individualized learning experience without the distraction of a large classroom. I am looking to open The Reading Refinery, an individual and small group learning space to help students learn the way they need to. Our reading and literacy services provide personalized support for students from PreK to 12th grade. We specialize in reading remediation, literacy coaching, writing skills development, and tutoring, helping students build confidence and mastery in reading and writing. Whether they need extra help catching up or want to advance their skills, we offer tailored instruction to meet every learner’s needs. I look forward to enhancing the education of students in the Athol/Orange and surrounding areas.
