Another difficult , but hopeful, path that Loren has to endure. For years, she has been fighting for her health due to kidney disease. Countless Doctor appts, to losing hope to being next in line for a transplant, its been a difficult journey. The journey was worth the fight….. Loren didnt give up and with many prayers and support of her friends and family, she was blessed with a kidney donor. The surgery was successful, giving Loren a new chance at a different life without dialysis. Now come more challenges as the bills pile up. Loren must stay at a location in Southern California away from home for a month or more, where doctors can monitor her and ensure her body does not reject the kidney. The housing is not covered by the insurance and not all the hospital bills are covered either. Plus she must support her family, home and normal day to day bills.
