Support Loren Roth's TBI Recovery Journey

Hello, my name is Allyson Vaca and I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my dad's story. My dad, Loren Roth, had a serious farming accident that resulted in a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). He was in the hospital from June to September and then was moved to a transitional care unit to receive therapy. Unfortunately, the insurance company decided that they were going to give up on him after a few short weeks of therapy, so my mom, Tammy Roth, has been forced to pay out of pocket for his stay. Due to the transitional care unit expenses and lack of therapy, we have decided it is time to bring him home. TBI's take a lot of time to heal, especially with as severe as my dad's was. Neurologists have stated that with the appropriate therapy and care, he should be able to regain most of his functions. We are doing everything we can to get him the therapy he needs, but as with everything in the medical field, it is expensive.

Good friends of my family have kindly set up a Benefit to help my mom with the financial expenses. I have been asked by several people how they can donate if they cannot attend the benefit, so I made this GoFundMe for those of you who would like to help. My dad has never liked to be in the spotlight, but he is a kind soul who was always willing to help others. I'm hoping to do the same for him.
