Support Loren J's FFS Journey!

Hey all!

As some of you know I've been in the process of getting my facial feminization procedure for several years, and with a couple of false starts, have finally found a surgeon that accepts my insurance. I am moving forward, despite my financial uncertainty, because I don't know when I will have this opportunity again. I'm asking for community support as I take this leap, knowing that my local Chicago scene and the community at-large has my back.

That being said, there are still some financial unknowns, but in order to schedule a surgery date I'll need to pay for expert recommendation letters and a facial CT scan, totally over $1000, by the end of November.

I would also like to plan at least two weeks of restful recovery without worrying about bills or daily needs.

Right now I am asking for:

I'm deeply grateful to have access to community support, something that I don't take for granted and don't call upon without deep consideration. Any funds raised above and beyond my specific care needs related to this procedure will be redistributed in coordination with community leaders.
