Support Lorelei's NICU Journey

My name is Heidi, however, I am writing this because of my new title Gigi. Sweet little Lorelei Lane Cardone made her arrival 10 weeks early. Her amazing NICU staff are taking phenomenal care of her and we could not be more grateful. Mommy and Daddy jump right in and participate in everything they can. Her NICU information board describes her as "Tiny but Mighty" and Little Miss is exactly that!

However, with a preemie (the size of a micro preemie) comes many trials and tribulations regardless of Miss Lorelei's forward progression. The NICU staff has described this as a marathon, not a sprint. So think 1 step forward, two back. No matter how prepared you think you are, having a preemie in the NICU requires specialized items, as well as a lot of travel and lodging expenses.

Many have asked what they can do to help, and one thing that will certainly benefit Devon and Cheyenne is not having to worry about the added expenses of travel, lodging, and specialized care items. My goal for this fundraiser is to eliminate the financial burdens of traveling 90 minutes one-way to the NICU daily for Devon and Cheyenne, and provide them with closer access via hotel stays near her NICU as they can. Also, we as a family, want to be sure that Little Miss Lorelei has everything she needs when she's ready to go home with Mommy and Daddy.

When that will be is yet to be determined....... but they say the first goal is by her due date which is 10 weeks away!

No one can change circumstances, but we can help with the financial burden and allow Mommy and Daddy to stress and worry less and focus on sweet baby girl.
