Hi all,

I want to start by saying thank you for taking the time to read this. It means so much to me.

Over the last couple years I have had some concerning reproductive issues. I discovered in 2024 that I had a buildup of pre-cancerous cells in my uterus. This triggered my doctor to test me for hereditary cancer genes which I did test positive for. We were able to stabilize me with a minor procedure, hormones and therapy.

After stabilizing we created a plan to have my breast tissue removed, as well as a total hysterectomy within the next couple of years. I recently had my semi-annual checkup to make sure that my body is still responding to the therapy well and unfortunately the pre-cancerous cells popped back up again. Because this is the second time in 2 years as well as other concerns my doctor believes it's best for me to move my surgeries to as soon as possible to prevent the spread of the cancerous cells.

When I was homeless and I worked really hard through transitional housing. Attempting to go to college and build something to sustain myself. I'm now housed. I had a job that I loved and I was fighting hard to keep growing. Now that I have to have this life-altering procedure, I'm worried that all of my stability that I fought for will be lost.

As of now, the plan is to have a partial hysterectomy followed by breast tissue removal. The hope is that we can preserve some of my eggs and then, eventually remove my ovaries as well.

The reason that I'm asking for support during this time is because this road to recovery is going to be long and hard. I just want to make sure that I will be okay, safe and stable once this battle is done. I know that I will survive. I know that I will grow because of this. I just ask for help keeping the life that I build safe and secure while I go through these procedures.

I don't expect everyone to be able to financially support. But even giving a share will help it reach someone who possibly can. I love my community, my friends, and I try to spread love to all I cross paths with.
