Support Lorelei in studying abroad in Thailand and Cambodia

Hey everyone!

It is still so surreal that I will be studying abroad in Thailand and Cambodia. Growing up as a kid, I never have thought that I would be able to travel outside of the US, much less study abroad. Thanks to Carpe Mundi, this once far fetched dream of studying abroad has become a reality.

This February, me and my cohort will be leaving to Thailand and travel over to Cambodia. Some of the things that we will be doing there while taking courses is:

-Explore the natural environment

-Learn about local traditions, community-based tourism, and the conservation and rehabilitation of mangrove forests and other ecosystems

-Dive into arts scene

And much more

This will be my first time EVER traveling outside of the country. As an Indigenous person to both North and Central America, I am most excited about connecting with and learning about the Indigenous peoples of the many places that we will be traveling to. Studying abroad will push my outside of my comfort zone and help me have a little more control over my anxiety. I am more than ready to go out and experience studying abroad.
