Lora was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in December 2024. The tumor was found after a routine mammogram. It measured 2.8 X 2.2 cm. This is a very aggressive cancer as it grows and spreads rapidly. The reoccurrence rate is very high.

From January - August 2025, she went through chemotherapy. On 9/11/25, she had a lumpectomy, with 12 lymph nodes removed. All pathology came back negative.

Radiation has been recommended. If she chooses radiation, it will be 5 days a week. She will lose her job. Her employer has held her job for 9 months, but she has been informed they will no longer hold it if she takes more time off.

Without radiation, her mortality rate is 40%, at best, for 5 years. She had short term disability for 3 months has exhausted her 401K. Her medical bills are approaching $30,000. She is in danger of losing her house.

I cannot let Lora go through this alone. I want to help in any way possible. She should not have to worry about losing her home, while fighting to save her own life. I know she would be the first person to help me if I needed it.
