On Friday, October 9, 2026, our community experienced an unimaginable tragedy when multiple lives were taken in a devastating shooting in Erie, Pennsylvania. Among those lost was Lora Roberts — a loving mother of five, a devoted fiancée, a cherished daughter, family member, and friend to so many.

I'm raising this fundraiser for Lora Roberts and her family after Lora passed away suddenly from a gunshot while trying to save her niece from an abusive man. Lora was one of nine victims.

Lora was a young mother of five children and was engaged to her fiancé of 14 years, Jeremy. Her sudden loss has left her loved ones facing heartbreak as well as immediate financial needs during an unimaginable time.

Donations will help cover funeral expenses, support the children's needs, and ease the strain from the loss of income.
