Hello dear friends, family, and community. I’m writing to you today to let you know that David Fawver, AKA Long Hair Dave, AKA one of the most influential activists in harm reduction history is leaving this physical realm to move on to the next cosmic round of existence. Those of us who were brought up in advocacy and activism by Dave are raising money for his family who needs financial help to support his end of life care and memorial costs. We are planning a community Memorial on May Day 2025 in Olympia - details to come.

Any additional money raised beyond the goal will go to EGYHOP, AKA the Emma Goldman Youth Homeless Outreach Project - the single longest running all volunteer run syringe exchange in the United States… the one that David started.

Please contribute as you comfortably can, Dave would never want you to go broke for this, so don’t be a martyr!!!
